On Friday 15th February, a packed Temple at Clifton Road, witnessed Peninsula Lodge No:5914, celebrate 75 years of Freemasonry. Present to help with the celebrations was VWBro David Dyson, Deputy Provincial Grand Master, and WBro Adrian Davies, (In the absence of our Area 2 APGM Gary Horstman, unavoidably absent), delivered an interesting and succinct history of the Lodge’s history.
The lodge, which only a few short years ago was discussing potentially handing back in its warrant, instead worked together, and improved their fortunes, and now boasts a ladder made up of purely light blue masons.
The next meeting will be interesting, as the Worshipful Master Installs his father, which is quite a rare occasion and we are sure they would welcome your support.
VWBro Dyson was pleased, not only to have attended the celebration, and to have received a generous donation to the CFC, but also to have found out he had won on the recent draw of “Spot the Maul”, with his first prize cheque being presented by WBro Adrian Davies, which in turn inspired a generous level of entries into the next draw
